Vision
Our Vision
LIFT envisions creating an international community of driven, accountable, compassionate, knowledgeable individuals who are committed to advocating for, educating and supporting single parents who are survivors of domestic violence (DV) / gender-based violence (GBV) who have faced wrongful persecution and systemic injustice by their country’s government / legal systems which have forced them to become exiled from their respective countries.
LIFT strives to create a safe, peaceful and just world for these displaced and exiled parents whereby they and their children are able to feel safe – not just from their perpetrators but from persecution by their governments – liberated, and hence, able to achieve their fullest potential. LIFT is built on the core belief that all individuals should be advocates for Gender Equality and Social Justice, and against all forms of abuse, in particular GBV.
